Naari Trust team with community members in Karnataka

Working alongside 500+ farmers and 50,000+ people across rural Karnataka.

Who we are

We believe that meaningful development goes beyond addressing a single challenge. It means helping children access quality education, enabling women to achieve financial independence, strengthening rural livelihoods, improving community infrastructure, protecting natural resources and preserving cultural heritage.

Through community-focused initiatives and collaborative partnerships, Naari Trust works towards creating opportunities for individuals and families to lead healthier, more dignified and self-reliant lives.

Our work brings together people, communities, institutions, volunteers and corporate partners to address local needs and support lasting social change across Karnataka.

Our approach to community development

At Naari Trust, we recognise that every community has its own strengths, aspirations and challenges. Our approach combines grassroots engagement with practical initiatives that respond to local needs.

From supporting children in rural schools and helping women develop livelihood opportunities to rejuvenating lakes, promoting environmental awareness and strengthening tribal communities, we work towards development that is inclusive, sustainable and community-centred.

We value local knowledge, equal opportunity, collaboration and accountability. Our goal is not simply to provide immediate assistance, but to help create conditions in which people and communities can thrive over the long term.
