By volunteering with Naari Trust, you gain:

- Learning through real-world social contexts
- A deeper understanding of community-led change
Our volunteering approach is ethical, guided, and designed to be mutually enriching for both communities and volunteers.
Types of Volunteering
Naari Trust offers different volunteering pathways so individuals can engage in ways that align with their interests, skills, and availability.
Field Volunteering
Field volunteers support on-ground activities in rural and tribal communities. This may include assisting with education programs, community engagement activities, sustainable farming initiatives, awareness sessions, and program support.
Field volunteering requires openness, adaptability, and respect for local cultures and practices.
Skill-Based Volunteering
Professionals and practitioners can contribute their expertise to strengthen our programs and internal systems. Skill-based volunteering opportunities may include:
- Teaching and academic support
- Digital literacy and technology assistance
- Content writing, documentation, and storytelling
- Design, communication, and outreach
- Research, monitoring, and evaluation support
These roles may be remote or field-based depending on project needs.
Student Volunteering
Students who wish to contribute outside formal academic internship requirements can volunteer in learning-support roles, field engagement, awareness activities, and documentation work.
For structured, academic, or credit-based engagement, students are encouraged to visit our Internship & Student Engagement page.
Corporate & Group Volunteering
Naari Trust facilitates structured volunteering opportunities for corporate teams and organized groups seeking meaningful community engagement.
These engagements are designed to balance team participation with genuine community value and may include education support, awareness programs, skill-sharing sessions, and short-term project assistance.
EYC – Engage Youth for Change
Engage Youth for Change (EYC) is Naari Trust’s youth-focused volunteering initiative. It encourages young individuals to participate in social development through learning, leadership, and sustained engagement.
EYC focuses on education, environment, livelihoods, and social awareness, promoting responsible citizenship and long-term involvement rather than one-time activities.
